Build Your Own Micro Computer

This after school class is offerred to middle and high school students at various times. Each session meets for two days after school from 3:00 - 5:00pm.

Students keep the computer they build in the class. Each computer build consists of a micro computer, micro SD card, monitor, keyboard, mouse, HDMI cable, and necessary adapters.

Each class is taught by Mr. Burres, the HCA Director of Technology.


What They'll Learn

  • The vital components of a computer
  • How to connect all components
  • How to install software / apps
  • How to connect to the Internet
  • How to get started coding with the computer

Cost: $140

Class fees should be paid by check to HCA. Payment is necessary to hold a student's reservation in class.
