Esports Club

HCA Esports club team members compete for HCA against other schools in popular video games. Students choose from one or more games in which to compete. We complete through the High School Esports League (HSEL).

Students compete from the comfort of their own home and equipment. Read the following for more information. See the link below to register.

  • Minecraft: Survival Games
    solo PC
    Tuesdays: 5pm, 6pm, 8pm Saturdays: 4pm

    Tuesdays: 5pm, 8pm Fridays: 5pm, 6pm
  • Madden 20
    1v1 PS4 Xbox
    Fridays: 5pm, 6pm Sundays: 4pm
  • NBA 2K20
    1v1 PS4 Xbox
    Mondays: 5pm, 8pm Sundays: 4pm

Registration Cost

Cost: $60

Non-refundable club fees cover HSEL licenses and administrative costs. Fees should be paid directly to school (checks made out to HCA).

Payment due Monday, March 9th


Eligibility

  • HCA High School Student (grades 9 -12)
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 (with no Fs) in prior (or current) quarter of season registration
  • Parental and administration approval
  • Agree to abide by HCA Esports Club and HSEL Rules

Rules

  • Participants must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the policies detailed in the HCA Parent/Student Handbook.
  • Participants may not compete on any day they are absent from school (consistent with athletic policies).
  • Participants must maintain the minimum GPA (with no Fs) as defined in the eligibility requirements (consistent with the athletic eligibility policies).
